• Online – before or after relocating
• In person at any HSBC branch

You Will Need

• Proof of your eligibility to work in the UK
• Proof of your home address (ie where you lived before relocating to the UK, we used our drivers license)
• Identification – passport, birth certificate, drivers license etc

Benefits

• You can set up an account quickly enabling you to start work as soon as you like.
• No need to wait for ‘proof of address’ such as utility bills that can take 3 months.
• World wide ATM cash withdrawals
• Internet and telephone banking
• Visa debit card (good for booking stuff)
• UK Relocation service from red24
• Low cost international transfers
• They also give you a UK sim card with 10 pounds pre loaded credit and cheap international calls

You May Not Like

• The account costs 8 pounds per month
• It has a 12 month contract
