As it turned out online shopping was just as hard in it's own way, Probably 'cos I tried to do it when the kids were up, should have waited until they were tucked in for the night!! I think its the 'gatherer' in me that likes going out and getting the food anyway ;)

Yeah, there was no question of the outcome :-) I think your online shopping idea sounds like a good remedy!

Oh my goodness Shannon!!! I can just imagine that moment, where you know exactly what's going to happen, but you can't do anything about it.

Oh man, good thing you're taking it lightly. The best I have is when my niece was about six she lived with me for a bit of time. I happened to break my foot and we lived in a second floor apartment - this meant it was REALLY tricky getting the groceries upstairs.

Although I managed to carry the bags on the handles of my crutches I asked her to carry the gallon of milk - not a great idea in retrospect, especially when we got to the top, she slipped and we both turned in horror to watch the gallon roll down a few steps before gaining speed and crashing at the bottom into a mess!

I wanted to cry then too. ;-)
